Life is such a fragile and beautiful thing. I try to work within this scope to craft original handmade pieces that I hope will last for generations to come. I began creating art as a child inspired by the amazingly unique sights, sounds and nature of the bayous of New Orleans and South Louisiana. I fell in love with a Yorkshireman in college and moved to England after school. We then moved to Yosemite National Park where we lived and worked for a few years. We fell in love with the Pacific coast and finally settled in the Portland area in Oregon where I'm continually influenced by the art in nature around us. We now have three kids, two dogs a rural hobby farm and are building a proper shop for the art and woodworking. 

I have always been drawn to making useful things beautiful and strive to achieve a balance between the two in the pieces I make now. I use many mediums in my  work. Wood, glass, acrylic, paper, paint, spray-paint, plants and many other things become my tool chest for creativity. Functional art is the best kind in my opinion. I hope that I am able to provide you with pieces in the future.  

Because I handmake each piece, there are often slight variances in color or finish. This just contributes to you having a one of a kind item.
